For practicing professionals: psychologists, psychiatrists, nutritionists, and supervisors. It's not a mass-market product — it's a tool for professionals.
How does the search work — is it a chatbot or a book search?
It's a semantic search over a closed library of books, not an open-ended chatbot. You ask a question in your own words, the system finds relevant fragments specifically from the books and builds a structured answer from them — without inventing anything beyond the library.
Do I need to phrase special queries?
No. You can ask in ordinary human language, like talking to a colleague — no special prompts needed.
Can I have a dialogue and refine my question?
Yes, there's dialogue memory — when you ask a follow-up question, the system takes previously found fragments into account.
Does it work like supervision/peer consultation?
Rassvet has a separate supervision mode, where the system asks clarifying questions and helps you prepare to discuss a case. It's a preparation aid, not a replacement for actual supervision.
What happens if the answer simply isn't in the database?
The system says so directly — it doesn't guess or provide an approximate answer instead of an honest "not found."
Can I use the service during a session with a client?
Technically yes — you can ask a question during a session and get an answer. But keep in mind: the system takes time to search for fragments and compose a detailed answer, it's not an instant response. Rassvet isn't designed for real-time synchronous dialogue while a client waits — rather, it's more useful for preparing for the next session or during a break between sessions, when you can calmly read the answer, look at the situation from different professional angles, and choose a technique or protocol.
Can I save fragments I like and my query history?
Yes, there are saved fragments and chat history — you can return to them anytime.
Can Rassvet be used to prepare lectures, articles, and supervision sessions?
Yes, this is one of its natural uses — quickly selecting sources, techniques, and protocols for preparing materials.
Can a student (not yet a practicing professional) use Rassvet?
Yes — the service is especially helpful in the early stage of practice, when it's important to quickly find verified sources and rely on them in coursework and first cases.
Accuracy and sources
Where do the books in the library come from?
The library is professional literature in psychology, psychiatry and physiology. Rassvet does not display or provide the text of books with closed rights: an answer is a paraphrase naming the author and the book. Open-licence books (CC BY, public domain) are listed in the “Open Library” with links to the original sources; new books are added only if they are legally open.
What if a rights holder believes material is being used improperly?
You can write to admin@rassvet-ai.com — we'll review the request promptly.
How is answer accuracy checked?
Rassvet itself checks the paraphrase against the passage it found and marks the answer “✓ checked” or “⚠️ please note”. The author and book are named; open-licence books can be opened at the original source.
Can the system make mistakes or make things up?
The risk is minimised: the answer is built from passages found in books and checked against them, and when there is no support Rassvet honestly says “not found in the library”. But AI can make mistakes, so the decision and the final check stay with the professional.
How often is the library updated?
The library grows daily, new books are added continuously.
Can I suggest a book to be added to the library?
Yes, you can and should — write to admin@rassvet-ai.com with your suggestion.
Can I upload my own book or lecture notes to search through?
Yes — in “Book reading” you can upload your own lawful copy of a book: a reader, chapter summaries, questions to the text. Your book is visible only to you. You can also suggest a book for the shared library (admin@rassvet-ai.com).
Does the library include modern academic articles, or only books/textbooks?
Yes, besides books the library also includes modern academic articles.
Comparison with ChatGPT and other AI tools
How is it different from ChatGPT?
Rassvet relies on books in its library: every answer names the author and book and is checked against it, and when there is no support the system says so honestly. A general AI chat answers from the model's memory.
Why not just upload a PDF to ChatGPT?
Uploading a single PDF only gives you search within that one book and doesn't protect against the model inventing things beyond the file. Rassvet searches the whole library at once and relies only on what is actually written in the books.
Can Rassvet replace ChatGPT, or vice versa?
No, they're different tools. Rassvet isn't a competitor to ChatGPT or a general-purpose assistant — it's a narrowly specialized search over verified professional sources.
Does Rassvet use the internet when searching?
